muslims don’t follow the quran because they are mostly illiterate, and even fewer muslims are able to read the original arabic. thank goodness for that indeed!
This problem with religion would take care of itself if they really believed in it since they believe that they don’t need their brains to think and will experience wonderful things once that annoying thing is out of the way. However, they don’t all just kill themselves unless they take others with them and they also reproduce like crazy.
If they could all just commit a massive group suicide then they would all come to their heaven at the same time. We should give them the hint.

What is completely unacceptable is how pathetic and retarded people are. It is a very stupid old book full of boring crap. This should be clearly evident to everybody. Religion is a mental disease. It is a mental plague.
These people are really in deep shit. They drill their kids with this crap rather than teach them something useful and no critical thinking is encouraged.
somewhere it says that there is not compulsion in religion but later on the Quran says that “no religion other than Islam will be accepted” and in general there are lots of threats of eternal fire and contradictions
thing is scholars consider the latest passages more valid than the early ones, sadly the few tolerant passages are early in the quran, and the intolerant ones at the end because Mohammed had established his military power by then, no need to pussy foot

well, the best is to google for those numbers, there are plenty of web pages with the Quran in english, with 3 translations by different respected islamic translators…
you can read the same passage, translated by 3 different muslims, see the small difference in meaning in each translation… and make up your own mind…
