When did I say the Bible is not filled with violence. I know it is, the difference is that God directly told the Israelites to do these things, unlike what Muslims (or any one else killing in God’s name) are doing today.
1) saying ‘the God of the Bible’ is the greatest sin, can you explain?
2) I guess there in lies the problem with Muslims, everything you do is for the hereafter. Why would God place you on earth if he didn’t want you to do something on it. I believe God wants us to help the poor, comfort the greiving, feed the hungry, show the love of Chirst, spread the Gospel etc. not because we get some reward in the hereafter, but because we love each other because we are all God’s children.
1) Why don’t you read verse up to 16 as well. That entire passage is used as a symbol where the men represent Christ and women the Church. It shows how the church is to be submisive to God. Verse 12 states “For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God”
2) You can use many parts of the Bible to justify pretty much anything if you don’t put it in context, that verse has nothing to do with Jews, it just refers to people living hypocritically.

You seem to be convinced that Muslims act violently in the name of God and you are very right. The point you are missing however, is that Muslims do everything in the name of God. While other prepare for this life, we prepare for the hereafter. It is what I like to call “true faith”

Those verses cover the entire gambit of male supremacy and chauvanism in the Christian faith

1) Not many other religions force women to keep their heads covered, or force women to be acompanied by men everywhere, or not be allowed education.
2) If God does something, or tells someone to do something, than ultimately you can’t argue that it is wrong because God is perfect and always right, whether we agree with Him or not. Of course, the people killing each other in the name of God today are just using God to justify their agendas.

2) I don’t take offense to whether or not beheadings originated in the Bible, what I have a problem with is the implication that the Bible justifies the killing of innocent people.

Honor killings in the Muslim world are far more common than in any other religion. Sure there are some fringe elements of every religion, but these extremist elements are much more prevelant (even main stream) in many parts of the Muslim world.
Just because the Bible references beheadings doesn’t mean that the God of the Bible wants Christians to go out and behead people who offend Christianity.

The beheadings in Mexico had nothing to do with Christianity, while the decapitated women was killed completely because of Islam.
