Riots in Harrow near the new Mosque. The original and planned demonstration against the building of the mosque was meant to be a peaceful protest, but it managed to attract a large numbers of muslim youths who despite claiming to be calm and peaceful, proved themselves to be the complete opposite; by using violence and causing chaos. Islam…a peaceful and non-violent religion??

I personally do not follow religion. And I choose not to because from an atheist point of view, I can see the trouble all religions cause. But at the same time, I see the unity religion brings to each of its people. I know the people of the world arent going to respond to incidents like this, and think, maybe we should do something about our worlds arguements and tiffers.
But those EDL NAZIS ( we fought in ww2 against nazis and therefor why do we tolerate them living in our country now,they are anti british.These EDL dont give a flying fk about england or britian they just feel agreived that they have been given 1 brain cell to live with

While I admit in Islam there are extremists people. But lets not single out on Islam only. In Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Jewish, Taoism, Communism and many more there are all have extremists. So what we have to do is tolerance about everything. The young Muslims in UK need to behave more and the UK citizens need to show their tolerance on Muslims community. Lets not let these people ruin up the harmony and the unity that you all people have build up.

Every religion gives us a message of peace and love. Those who pretend to be a muslim and kill innocent people in the name of Allah and Islam they are not among us and dont represent Islam. Every single person regardless of their color, race, religion is important to the building of the great nation in any country as long as that person is a good citizen. So, why there is a fuss about Muslims residing in Uk ? Aren’t they contribute anything to your economy?
I am so fed up of people hating on others because of religion – it has caused more harm than good. Belief is one thing, but when it gets used to indoctrinate people to commit atrocities, that is so wrong. Seriously, who cares about what colour people are or what they follow? As long as in their core, they are good people, surely that’s all that matters. Bad people should be punished because they do or say or incite people to do bad things, not because they peacefully follow a belief.

I am student in such filed and I must correct you there as the old testament of the Bible mentions Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) by name before he was even born, so yes Islam and Muslims existed in the old testament of the Bible. We believe in the same one God, Christians, Jews and Muslims. Prophet Muhammad was known clearly in the original Bible, this is why Cesar backed down his army when Muhammad (pbuh) had passed thorough. Peace.
