NO ONE INJURED IN CAIRO SYNAGOGUE BOMBING ATTEMPT

A man hurled a crude bomb at the Cairo Shaare Shamayim synagogue from a hotel across the street. Police are still looking for the man, but authorities say he threw a suitcase filled with gasoline canisters using sulfuric acid to ignite the device. No one was injured in the attack. The synagogue only holds services on major holidays. Those familiar with the building say theyre glad the building wasnt damaged. The synagogue stores more than 20000 rare books in its basement.
