Hiroshima – Nagasaki Atomic bombing 1945 Aug

Posted on March 19, 2010 | 9 Comments

The atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were nuclear attacks near the end of World War II against the Empire of Japan by the United States at the executive order of US President Harry S. Truman on August 6 and August 9, 1945, respectively. After six months of intense fire-bombing of 67 other Japanese cities, followed by an ultimatum which was ignored by the Shōwa regime, the nuclear weapon “Little Boy” was dropped on the city of Hiroshima on Monday, August 6, 1945, followed on August 9 by the detonation of the “Fat Man” nuclear bomb over Nagasaki. These are to date the only attacks with nuclear weapons in the history of warfare The bombs killed as many as 140000 people in Hiroshima and 80000 in Nagasaki by the end of 1945, roughly half on the days of the bombings. Amongst these, 1520% died from injuries or the combined effects of flash burns, trauma, and radiation burns, compounded by illness, malnutrition and radiation sickness Since then, more have died from leukemia (231 observed) and solid cancers (334 observed) attributed to exposure to radiation released by the bombs. In both cities, the majority of the dead were civilians. Six days after the detonation over Nagasaki, on August 15, Japan announced its surrender to the Allied Powers, signing the Instrument of Surrender on September 2, officially ending the Pacific War and therefore World War II. (Germany had signed its unavoidable[2] Instrument of Surrender on May 7, ending the war in Europe.) The bombings led

Bombing of Dresden in World War II

Posted on March 14, 2010 | 25 Comments

The Bombing of Dresden in World War II was an unnecessary and illegal action. In the US we are indoctrinated to believe that the firebombing of civilians in Germany and Japan was necessary, but the policy of Unconditional Surrender and the resultant atrocities began after the war was already essentially won. There were legitimate military targets located outside the city of Dresden, but these areas were not damaged by the bombing. I posted this video because although we are generally familiar with the horrific crimes of the Nazis, we are less familiar with the crimes of the so called victors. If you want to know who really won this war, follow the money. I would encourage you to view the videos I have favorited on my channel under the titles First Responders of September 11th, 2001, Unanswered Questions about September 11th, 2001, and Money.

The Austin Texas Bombing Is A Huge Blow To “Tea Party” Image

Posted on February 20, 2010 | 23 Comments

PLEASE SUBSCRIBE!!!!! www.businessinsider.com It’s not clear who the Austin, TX plane crash pilot Joe Stack hung out with, but let’s just put it out there and stop playing pretend: this is not good publicity for the “Tea Party” right, and no, we’re not saying Stack was a tea partier. But in his insane manifesto he rails against the IRS, bailouts, and, well, all of the right wing’s typical enemies. Is this fair to the right? No. Will some of the media use this as a chance to smear the “tea partiers”? Sure. But we’re not talking about what’s fair, we’re just talking about what happens. The bottom line is that this event is to Obama what Oklahoma City was to Bill Clinton, and Oklahoma City helped Clinton a lot in the dark days after the 1994 election. Empire – ‘War on terror’ through Muslim eyes

Posted on January 29, 2010 | No Comments

In this episode, Empire looks at how al-Qaeda is perceived in the Muslim world. Does the US’ so-called ‘war on terror’ serve only to alienate Muslims, driving them into the arms of extremist groups? Can the US reverse the tide of military intervention in the region and instead try to reach political solutions that involve all political parties, including repressed Islamic parties? We will also discuss whether the Arab world has an answer to the al-Qaeda challenge.

Jewish Rabbi says Islam is the oldest religion

Posted on January 24, 2010 | 25 Comments

Listen to this Jewish Rabbi who agrees with Islam. He confirms that Islam is the oldest religion on earth. This is true, one just has to realize that Islam pre-dates Prophet Muhammad (p) who was simply the final Prophet in the long line of Prophets (p). See also how ancient Hebrew speaking Jews as well as Christians used to pray. Notice how Islam is calling us back to the true monotheist worship, faith and path of Abraham and all the Prophets. The Rabbi even admits that Islam’s roots trace …
