Fox news have no right to classify this as an act of terrorism until the Army wraps up its investigation and conclude that it was an act of terrorism.
Also, why aren’t racist that commit violent acts against American minorities classified as terrorist by Fox news?
Yet they let him continue as an Army psychiatrist anyway since they were afraid of singling him because of his religion.
His superiors and colleagues clearly diagnosed him as being psychotic. Apparently you know more than them? I think not. Do you work in the moron administration?
Suckbar, no one said Awlaki was the shooter. Hasan was not diagnosed as schizophrenic or psychotic. He would not have been allowed to continue as an Army psychiatrist if this was so. The bottom line is he was an islamic extremist that put his radical religious beliefs befoere his country and the lives of his fellow soldiers. Why do you wish to ignore this obvious fact? Do you work in the obama administration?
Anwar Awlaki is not the shooter, he’s the connection from Yemen that Maliki had.
Look, his colleagues and superiors at Fort Hood evaluated Maliki several times. He was described as being psychotic, disconnected, schizoid. It is well known that schizo personalities cling to religion irrationally. Look it up. This person was unfit for service in the Army and was clearly insane. His religion was only a catalyst for what happened.
This man was clearly shuffled around to be someone else’s problem. No one acknowledged the warning signs because of political correctness. These liberal assholes are afraid to connect the dots.
Ties may not have been made, but the shooter tried to make contact with known AL-Qaeda members via e-mail at least 20 times. He also attended the same radical mosque as two of the 9-11 highjackers. He also said that non-muslims should be “beheaded and hot oil poure down their throats”. He also said he is a muslim first, an american second. You’re right, this notion that he may have had ties to Al-qaeda, or that radical islam had anything to do with this is just pure propaganda.
No, this wasn’t an islamic extremist terrorist attack! Major Nidal Malik Hasan al Hussein Allah Ahkbar Aswan Dam Alaki Mahmoud Korancameltoe AK fohrteeseven was just having a bad day. Please.
This Anwar Al-Alaki guy does not have any verifiable ties to Al-Qaeda just to let you all know. This presentation in large part is a propaganda piece.
It’s propaganda that someone else wrote coming from his mouth. Just look at the way O’Reilly presents it.
I’m familiar with the way the Army works and it’s hardly surprising how this happened. Then again, this guy seemed deeply entrenched in his religion. So who’s to say he wouldn’t have done this at some other point of crisis in his life. The way that Islam oppresses a person’s mind usually results in outbursts of violence.
‘Muslim Angle’ As a news tv graphic?
US cable news cracks me up.
Based on this reporting no one can be accused of “jumping to conclusions” calling this an act of jihad/terrorism. The question I would raise in response to O’Reilly’s hypothesis that these red flags were ignored based on political correctness (which is very plausible) is if it might have been based on the difficulty the army is having with recruitment.
