Posted on December 6, 2009 | 25 Comments

Bombing of Germany! From the beginning of the war the Luftwaffe engaged in massive air raids against Polish cities, bombing civilians, hospitals, and refugees. Cities like Warsaw, Wieluń, Frampol and many others were devastated by indiscriminate German air bombardments, often targeting civilians. In the case of Frampol, the city was destroyed as a test case to determine the effects and accuracy of bombardment. The first bombs released on Germany during World War II were dropped by a single …

nobody today, least of all the germans, are going to dispute the fact that the nazi leaders were utterly evil, BUT when thinking about attacks like that on dresden, the moral superiority of the allies, mainly the british, to a degree comes into question too.

not looking to defend the nazis in any way, but an attitude that everything the allies did was righteous and justified means missing out on an important lesson over the nature of war. just think a little deeper, its not all black n white!

  2. grazyarnie says:

guess what…after I stated that..he knew about that of course..he knows about Blavatzky and von List..he will know everything….just like the fucking Nazis..the knew everything as well cause they believed in the speeches of Nostradamus…I believe ryko26 as an occult medium knows everything…know after I staed these facts not known to the masses….

  3. grazyarnie says:

I was answering to that ryko26 character…who is using the typical stereotypes of the Nazis in order to justify his own rascistic statements….ask him about a fact….he will know it of course…ask him to tell us a fact he will stuck to the Wochenschau….he wont know anything about occult and the Nazis using mystics in order to reccon the positions of enemy groups..

  4. grazyarnie says:

typical statement of a person knowing nothing about german history…just like the Nazis…wow…

  5. helenheather says:

To all comments that say: ALL Brits, ALL English, ALL Russians, ALL Germans, Note : EVERY NATION had and still has people who are: kind or mean, stupid or smart , literate or illiterate, bullies or helpers, cynics or idealists and all nations have masses of powerless people: the unimformed, children , old folk, disabled, dependent women etc. etc.

  6. ryko26 says:

It’s almost unbelievable isn’t it? Just think… all those millions of good Germans (99.9% seems to be a common reckoning) who opposed Hitler and had only been dragged into war by those evil Poles, Jews and the anti-christ Churchill.
It’s incredible that such a tiny minority managed to build all those concentration camps and gas chambers, execute a third of the civilian population of Belorussia, carry out all those medical experiments on civilians etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc

  7. swanningaround says:

flossy. You keep calling the killers “British”. These killings were ordered by English gangsters like Churchill and Portal. You keep say “we did this because some other country did this and that”. That is a bogus argument always put forward by the English to commit attrocities.

The British are not all cruel people. The English certainly are. The main problem with you English is that you will never ever admit that you have done wrong. In fact, you will do worse and worse things to others.

  8. flossy100 says:

And finally swanningaround considering the rest of the worlds hates the British it doesn’t stop them all ALL WANTING TO BE HERE DOES IT!!

  9. flossy100 says:

When Goerring orders backfired he told the men they were cowards and had betrayed him!! I feel sorry for those german pilots. They were young and innocent and didn’t realize till later just how pathetic Goerring was. So don’t DARE talk about the cruelty of the British!!

  10. flossy100 says:

Britain was MORE concerned about the German civilians and destruction than their own leaders. Hitler and Goerring (dumb and dumber) didn’t give a damn about their OWN people or the men under them. They told constant lies and propaganda. Goerring put his men into unnecessary danger and many German pilots said they were more terrified of running out of fuel than they were of being shot down by the British (Goerings orders)

  11. flossy100 says:

swanningaround – Stop ranting about the British for a moment and tell me what your views are on Hitlers regime, i.e. the concentration camps, gassing, ethnic cleansing and the initial invasion of all the other countries etc.? (Even after he’d signed peace treaties) Also what did you think of the bombing on Britain including the Coventry bombing before Dresden. Please just answer those two questions.

  12. swanningaround says:

flossy. You English are all the same. You never admit you commit attrocities – ever! That is why the rest of the world hates your attitude. Dresden was a gross attrocity, and yes, English bomber people do not just block out memories – they savour the good ones, especially those where they “got back” at the enemy, or in other worlds flaming women and children. Retaliation – now THATS a real English thought. It justified all sorts of attrocities. By the way. Aussiephil99 is English like you.

  13. flossy100 says:

Ruth ermer makes an interesting point here that the nazi’s were the ones who were whining, praying and whimpering as the bombs dropped.

  14. flossy100 says:

swanningaround you are completely mad. Firstly no soldier, German or British, cheers when they see mothers and babies dead. They try and block that thought out of their minds. Firstly, they DON’T see dead bodies from the sky and secondly they are simply following target orders. This was a retaliation surely you know that? Wrong but ……retaliation! You mustn’t be so inward looking. Go and google the Coventry bombing never mind the London bombing.

  15. swanningaround says:

Aussie. The thought of the mindset of the English revolts me. The allies had to “fight back”? The bombing of Dresden was against a beaten country with no way of fighting back, and just obliterating a city out of hatred for the German people. Who started the war? England did. They declared war on Germany. They put a stranglehold on the German economy from about 1906 onwards. Most English are evil. You people would do much worse to Germany now if you could. The US won’t allow it.

  16. Aussiephil99 says:

The English bomber crews as you put it were 40% other nationalities including Australians, Canadians and New Zealanders. You are an idiot perhaps you think the allies should have allowed the Germans to continue their advance and slaughter into Russia and allow the bombing of Britain without retaliation the allies had to fight back and at the time this was the best way to do it. You have forgotten who started the war!! And you have obviously forgotten the German bombing of Britain in 40-41

  17. swanningaround says:

Aussie. I don’t think you understand the revulsion I feel for nglish thinking. No other nationality has this evil mindset. The English look all around the world and say “someone did that, and this allows us to do the same”. I will say it again. The English bomber crews were evil monsters who delighted in the suffering of others and were only sorry they did not inflict even more and prolonged suffering. Let us never forget these acts. The English are actually much worse now.

  18. Aussiephil99 says:

swanningaround……..They were heroes not monsters……….what exactly was Britain supposed to do to fight back against Germany……you talk about woman and children….what about the death camps and the Einzatgruppen and SS in Russia …..you are a hypocrite.

  19. IGOTSutube says:

HA! The British look at Germany during World War II and say “You evil bastards!” But then they do the same exact thing! And the population then calls it patriotism! But then, what were they supposed to do, you know? I guess it’s just as simple as war sucks, and no matter what it has to be bad on both sides.

  20. noblepuker says:

i’ve seen more intelligent debate under a ‘wiggles’ video.I need another beer tccompaq.

  21. cantankerouslandlord says:

This was payback for the London Blitz.

In that attack, which lasted from November 1940 to February 1941, 43,000 Britons were killed.

  22. swanningaround says:

These English aircrews were monsters. They had no regrets, in fact cheered when they saw the bodies of mothers and babies. To them the Germans were “Huns” in other words untermensch from the East. The worst thing is that the English would do this again right now, if they could. The English hate all Japanese, Russian and German people. This hatred will carry on until their education system including the parents teaching changes. No baby is born evil, but the English soon socialize them.

  23. rayd408 says:

all the cities there were very nice far nicer than cities of the US, they used stone US used wood…imagine if that kind of bombing hit US…

  24. LesPaul2006 says:

Most wars are not like spaghetti western movies. I’m no Nazi (in fact I’m of jewish descent),but I think in every war there are two sides: The bad one, and the worst.

  25. grazyarnie says:

I am with You, lets celebrate our freedom from the fucking Nazis…
