I do not care what Israel does to Palestine; it is not my problem as long as I don’t have to support it with American blood and money. I am an American who does not wish to police the world. HOWEVER, an attack on a United States Navy ship is very much my business. Like many Americans, I will not forget it until the whole truth is told. The longer the official lies are told the worse will be the consequences when the truth finally comes out, as it inevitably will.

In your opinion, should the US government investigate the allegations contained in the War Crimes report filed by the survivors of the June 8, 1967 attack on the USS Liberty?
This shows that Egypt must have been very weak since Israel was not even able to destroy one of our light unarmored ships at the time despite sea and air attacks numerous times. This is a real travesty and god bless all of those dead and wounded who have been shut up until they are all dead.
Can’t ask someone who while being a POW, had his dad and others follow the orders of an ultra Liberal president like Johnson who micromanaged things to the point of neurosis and didn’t even run for president again.
You should have asked his dad in 1967, not John Mccain who was a POW in 1967. He cowtailed because he wanted to have Jewish voters I think, but I don’t know about said book review.

It seems unusual that Isreal attacked the U.S.S. Liberty. According to Jimmy Carter’s book “Palestine not apartheid”, it was Americans the took out the Egyptian air force while it was still on the ground. And Americans were providing Isreal with intelligence information of where to strike and where defenses were set up by the Arab states.

Do not get me wrong I would like to find out the truth but events like this do not really come out finally until most of the people involve die off. Look at the secrets and cover ups of WW2. Some didn’t come out in the until 80’s.
