The thing that is deceptive about those numbers is this Blacks make up approximately 17% of the United States population.Whites make up almost 70% of the United States population.That makes the numbers you posted very misleading and deceptive.

Regarding profiling; if and when we do to middle eastern men, how will we do so when they start dyeing their hair and eyebrows blonde? Most muslims are black, so should we start profiling black people on planes, as the police do regarding traffic stops? Where does it end? Or better yet, when does it start?

Right or Wrong, the sad truth is ,whenever i am in a plane and I see middle-eastern looking muslim man fitting the profile, I am a bit uncomfortable even if he happens to be a normal person.
I think profiling any middle eastern/pakistani muslim between ages 18-45 boarding and doing some extra checking is nothing wrong when you consider the potential threat they may pose to general population. Of course profiling should stop with terrorists and not to other type of criminals when it comes to flying. Of course, i can understand the perspective of people who are against profiling because it might be misused in another situations which should be avoided.

Profiling solves nothing. Would it be difficult for a terrorist to find a stooge with blond hair and blue eyes to carry a bomb on board a plane? A terrorist could easily look within the our own borders or any country and find a lost soul that looks Caucasian who is angry enough to do us harm or, even worse, kidnap someone and force them with violent threats to help them carry out their terrorist act. Profiling would undoubtedly drive terrorists in this hideous direction. Is that smart?
Hey dummy look at the official crime statistics from the US Dept. of Justice. White men statistically rape FAR LESS than blacks.Almost every year 0% of reported rapes the perpetrator is White and victim Black. That means Black on Black rape is 100%! Black men rape over 30,000 White women, (30-40% of all white women rapes) every single year though they are 13% of the population.
BTW, Black males commit 9 times more murder and are a leading cause of death for black women.
